Wish I had known this 4 years ago when I started this post. Nothing, but nothing, strengthens the adrenals like Vitamin C and cleansing is very taxing to the adrenals. If I had to do it over I would certainly take at least 1,000 mg C 3 X a day. (Vitamin C leaves the body in a few hours and that 1,000 mg will only have about 18% of it actually processed by the body after it goes through the digestive system - unless you use Liposomal C but don't buy Dr. Mercola's "Liposomal" C as it is a fake and admittedly has no liposomes in it.)
