If your making your own 5-20 ppm silver you are getting both ionic and collodial. Ionic also has benefits the colloidal doesn't have. Like tissue rejuvenation, anti cancer, stays separated better due to + charge etc etc.

As long as you have reasonably small particles it probably doesn't make much if any difference. The stomach acid is going to break it down.

If you mess around and go for supper high particles instead of drinking more low particle. And if you add things like salt etc you might manage to turn your skin blue.
