I just wanted to add one thing. At http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol_withdrawal_syndrome
I found:


"Dysfunction of the hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal axis and increased release of corticotropin-releasing hormone occur during both acute as well as protracted abstinence from alcohol and contribute to both acute and protracted withdrawal symptoms."
This is why I suspect I may have high cortisol. The symptoms match so well.

is the one that inspired me to buy Seriphos.

But as I said, I will get a cortisol test and find out for sure.
If I in fact have high levels, is there something other than Seriphos that you would recommend to bring the levels down?
