2 Corinthians 12:20
For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:

I suppose there is a fine line between studying doctrinal differences with friendly discussions as a Bible study, which I'm sure is ok, and debating to the point that it turns into something that is not productive and a poor testimony. If we do it as a Bible study and in love instead of letting it turn into strife and tumults, I'm sure it is ok. My problem is that I let my emotions get in the way. I apologize to you for not discussing issues showing the love that I should have shown and letting it get into strife. I pray the Lord will forgive me and help me in these matters.
