I think it might be your kidneys. I have the same thing. I think it is the beginning of kidney failure. I did not know Iodoral could contribute to that. I found you post in a search to try to find out if it is okay for me [I have the same symptoms as you] to resume Iodoral which I stopped months ago. I have also become severly hyperthyroid recently. I was considering resume the Iodoral to see if the Iodine might help my kidneys [it is the right one mostly, as with you.] But think you have given me the answer, which is NO. It is likely the potassium in Iodoral that is the problem I would guess. I see that you posted this a long time ago. I hope you see my comment. I do not know if the Iodine can hurt the kidneys. I would think it might help thought I don't reaaly know. But the potassium could certainly be a probelm for ailing kidneys. I think my whole thyroid probelm stasrted because I obeyed the doctor and cut out salt after a heart probelm. Recently I have read that low salt in diet causes hypothyroidism. Which stsarted the whole thyroid issue for me. I guess we have to question our doctors in a kind way at every juncture and make sure we get sold, reasonable answers instead of assuming that everything out of their mouths is gold and that they always really know what they are talking about about everything. NOBODY know everything. It only gets dangerous when people start pretending or beleiving that they or others are all knowning. Best wishes.
