so you have to specify the concentration if mentioning a pH. Its basic chemie.
It is possible to make up Na bicarb solution in water of pH 7.6, I do so when I calibrate my pH meter
In general for the same molar concentration, borate is a stronger base than is bicarbonate. the internet sucks as a source for much of anything anymore, since the major search engines have all been co-opted by the major one, and its programmed to give the masses advertisements, not information, as is expected for such owners who focus secondarily on "money", and primarily on social control
