The problem isn't iron its rust. Lately I have used strong Black Tea with citric acid for that and it works very well.

Somewhere here is a post of mine about an ND article that used Black Tea and Ascorbic Acid as a Rust chelation.
IMO works better than IP6.. and the Citric instead of Ascorbic Acid makes it palatable as well..
