Thank you, Vincenzo, for the kind words. The best part of this entire decision to go on the fast was the realization that I don't HAVE to have the surgery! I can make a rational decision to be healthy in a natural way. The only slide back I have experienced is that I cannot seem to do without the coffee. The person who wrote ahead of you (and I'm going to respond to her in a moment -- I usually do things backward) said that she is on day 5 and had a terrible days 2 and 3 with caffeine withdrawl. I simply cannot do that. But the rest is good, and my energy level truly surprises me. I'm very grateful for all the support. Thank God for this forum! It is keeping me honest.
