I have also said so all along, not because it is entirely useless but because it was too crude to have any effectiveness. However, what my statement referred to is that the basic principle of frequency and resonance is valid and that at some point in the future, this new product might actually be refined to the point that it could produce a functional detector that could actually detect specific species of microbes.

Possibly a good theory. The rate of vibration may also be able in the future to help identify specifics.

No, if it could be refined as an analytical tool, to provide a rapid indication of the presence of specific organisms would be a major step forward.

Every major achievement has its first step.
