Gingivitis, periodontal disease and receding gums is caused by one main factor, loss of bone. It's really osteoporosis of the jaw which is the underlying factor, so to stop receding gums one needs to get to the root of the problem. This can only be done if one recognizes this and to try and rebuild the bone which can only be done with supplementation of calcium/magnesium preferably in colloidal form. it can take awhile but without this then the only other way is cosmetic surgery. Using sesame oil as a mouthwash is a good way to keep the mouth clean of bacteria, salt wash etc, but to build the bone you have to use bone building blocks, this is where calcium/magnesium comes in. You can get these minerals from food, but you would have to eat enormous amounts of dark leafy vegetables and drink milk which you will have to add magnesium too anyway because without it the rate of absorption of calcium from milk is minimal. Doctors wont tell you this, they'll tell you milk is good for your bones when in reality it isn't, until you add magnesium. Great for calfs, not humans. Do research, google Dr Joel Wallach and the disease your looking for. You may just save your teeth, and don't let some high falluting dentist tell you you can't rebuild bone in your jaw, they would like you to believe that so they can take your money and still not save your teeth but will be great for their bank account. Good luck.
