5% Lugols doesn't seem like effective way to get the amount of Iodine every one is saying I.E 20mg to 50mg as you would get a lot of Iodide from lugols,right?

Why not use SSKI mix with a nasent Iodine and get the exact dose/ratio you want and forget Lugols? Is this the right train of thought or am I way off?
