I just rubbed about 50-100mg worth of Iodine onto my body from Lugol's Iodine and found it disappeared rather quickly (30-60 min). I'm not sure if this means I'm very deficient, at first I put it on my belly and was full up from a previous meal so think that perhaps the temperature from blood flow due to increased digestion may have caused the Iodine to sublime but after applying it to my purple, freezing cold feet and having the iodine turn from brown to barely visible pale yellow in half an hour I'm thinking iodine may be very important to me, thanks for reminding me of this :)
