Yeah they seem far thicker in the second but definetely the sun and air makes them look thinner than they are.
If you feel them thicker ,then you see results if its YOUR feeling.

I suggest you look into detumescence therapy(just pinching and kneading of the scalp) to maintain healthy hair for years.Just take it easy.It works if your skin on your scalp is really tense and unmoveable.

You look great in both photos.
