From what i know the osteo meds are supposedly good for bones but some of the side effects are losing your teeth - go figure! So I would not recommend it for loose teeth.
I haven't tried the powder you mention, but some people here and on the dental forum recommended calcium therapy developed by a dentist in US - it may be worth trying, or maybe even contacting him. I saw a link quite recently but you could probably google it too. I would email them and ask if they can help you, who knows maybe they are not too far. I read here some people had great results with this.
