I wish I could take C I used to take just fine years ago. It affects me the same as aspirin or Motrin do- they all cause slight bleeding. I believe I have leaky gut and am working on protocols for that but need to take C right now for a candida protocol. The last brand I tried was Alive! which is a whole food Vitamin C made from organic acerola [fruit], organic goji [fruit], organic kiwi [fruit] and organic amla [fruit]. Some other nightshade food disagree with me so perhaps it is the goji that is the problem.
