I did a little reading about Listerine ingredients and one of the ingredients is Thymol which is a fungicide. I noticed you and the other person that mentioned Listerine benefits had fungal folliculitis. That probably explains why you are seeing good results along with the added benefit of the alcohol content.

I would seriously consider buying some White Thyme essential oil and adding it to 12 ounces of isopropyl alcohol and 4 ounces of witch hazel so you can make a stronger concentration of the Thymol found in Listerine.
