Interesting...In some cases, there is a link between Sjorgen's Syndrome and Gluten Sensitivity. I just read in this article that Sjorgen's Syndrome can be reversed by a gluten-free diet...if gluten is causing it. But, the gluten-free diet needs to be started early on. Advanced cases cannot be reversed with a gluten-free diet. It does not state why.

This article also states that an ultrasound can be done of the salivary glands for diagnosis.
