Black Man Goes on Shooting Spree Targeting Only White Peopl at Politics Debate Forum

Here’s another story that won’t make national headlines anywhere. And it probably won’t be investigated as a “hate crime,” even though race had everything do with the attack. Lakim Faust is a black man who went on a shooting spree, armed with 100 rounds of ammo. He only went after the white folk according to a local CBS affiliate:

“A man who shot four people near a Greenville Wal-Mart in June picked out his victims because they were white, according to several indictments handed down against him. Lakim Faust had more than 100 rounds of ammunition when he started shooting at people who were standing outside at a law firm and a shopping center in June, authorities said. A grand jury indicted Faust on 14 charges Monday, including four counts of attempted first-degree murder. Faust, who is black, picked out his victims based on their race, according to the indictments. The documents didn’t specify why Faust wanted to shoot white people, and police have not talked about why he picked out his targets. Earlier reports had indicated that Faust was shooting ‘indiscriminately.’”

Apparently, no one was killed. I guess Faust wasn’t that good of a shot. Of course, police shot Faust and didn’t kill him. He spent some time in the hospital, but now he’s out and in jail.

If only Faust had been a white guy who wanted to kill only black people. Even if he ended up not killing anyone, the media would have gone crazy. They’d start talking about how white-on-black “hate crimes” are on the rise. They’d say that ordinarily they’re opposed to the death penalty but in this case, they’d make an exception. They’d start making all sorts of “connections” about Faust’s political affiliations. They’d claim that Faust was a right-wing extremist with ties to the Tea Party. They’d say he voted for Ron Paul and donated to Rand Paul’s senate campaign. They’d “unearth” some comments that he supposedly made on some racist website. They’d interview members of his family and everyone who claimed to be an old friend of his. His family and “friends” would all say that he had been reclusive for the past several years and that they always knew that he was “up to something.” A few of the ones interviewed would express regret for not reporting his behavior to the police who could have given him a psych evaluation and had him committed, which would have prevented his hate crime shooting spree.

Then they’d cut for commercial which would be an ad from DHS reminding everyone, “If you see something, say something,” followed by a Prozac commercial. And then a Zoloft commercial. And then a Paxil commercial.

But…he was black, and he wanted to kill only white people. So, none of that matters. It’s just a local story. And remember, white people owned black slaves a long time ago, so those white folk sort of had it coming, if you know what I mean. Move along, people. Nothing to see here.
