Hello great post! You mentioned NEVER to use water. Is it alright if I boil the water and pour over herbs? I read that it is good to pour a bit of boiling water over herb to better extract (with heat) the water soluble compounds out. For example, it is like making a tea by steeping herbs in hot water vs cold. Please let me know what u think.
