I had the same problem. Brushed my tongue so much it was almost bleeding. Did a bit of research and was likely due to HSV. Discovered that brushing my teeth with coconut oil and baking soda got rid of it completely. Coconut oil has antifungal and antiviral properties. My miracle cure.
