I have had Folliculitis (Decalvans) for 12 years almost since my mid-teens. I was put on an on and off isotretenoin during that whole time which wrecked havoc on my and mental & physical health. The disease allowed me to see the need to take care of my health and lifestyle. I stopped the medication a year ago and completely started eating only organic whole foods and eliminated grains. I know my issue is related to the gut. When I am constipated for example I gate a flare up in my scalp. With some foods I feel the trigger as well. On few days every now and then I feel the itch is completely gone and there are no bumps or pussy scalp smell however that doesn't stay long. I realize I might have to stick to a sugar-free, almost all low residue diet to help my gut heal but it is hard to keep consistent with that as it keeps you low in energy and I need to live my life. I am taking all anti-parasitical herbs I know off and it is helping but still the disease is still here and I am trying to let go of wanting it to go but still try as some advised me that this disease is a manifestation of my spiritual teacher and I should not want to eradicate it and when I learn my life lesson it will go by itself. please msg me in my private as I never had the chance to meet people with my disease.
