There is no single technique or approach to recovering from any addiction. There isn't.

Hypnosis may temporarily break the cycle, but it is not a long-term "cure" for any addiction.

So, please.........stop the debate and offer the original poster some sound suggestions. There are too many excuses possible to avoid entering into recovery, and THAT is the hardest step for an addict to take: admitting that there is a problem and that we are powerless to control it.
