Hello Mary,

Fruits are sweet & they may feed the wrong cells. Berries are less sweet & do carry more nutrients but they do also carry sugars (fructose). Vegetables & herbs are great. Also do consider going to a VEGA testing clinic to find out which foods are suitable for him & which foods his body absorbs & doesn't absorb. This is really very important. I learnt some of these things when I went to a seminar & found out that we should be doing many more vegetables everyday to stay healthy. For those living in polluted cities or are sick, should be tripling their vegeatble intake daily as the body needs more to keep going.

Anyone with a serious disease & who hasn't attempted anything natural is more than likely to be overloaded with candida. And it's sad that doctor's don't test for it (even though we are all born with it). There are tests available & you can get it done privately. Or 'youtest.com'. It is also a good idea to get a blood test to find out if the candida has enttered the bloodstream.

Unfortunately there are many doctor's who understand the complications of it & are afraid to deal with those who have it, & there are some who know very little about it & then you've got those who think that everyone who does have it is completely crazy about it as it produces many symptoms all at once.

A cave man theory diet is all about going back to basics, an anti - candida is great for detoxing (without the good bacteria everyday), there is a time & a place for it. You will need to do your own research on this. You may learn a lot.
