Prednisone is low release i believe so maybe you're not feeling much because of this?
HC on the other hand is quick release, giving a higher , faster peak level - perhaps thats why that girl felt better on 20mg than 15mg?

It says in 'Stop the Thyroid madness' book about using HC wisely and using enough so that you don't get a negative feedback loop occurring with worsening symptoms. For example taking 5mg of HC when low in cortisol on tests - the body would use up the 5mg very quickly and then there would be a dive of cortisol levels which then give more hypo-adrenal symptoms.

So finding the right dose for YOU is important and can take a bit of adjusting.

Did you do a 4x diurnal saliva cortisol test? What results did you get - just low in the morning?

Intriguing that your testosterone levels are good but you're suffering so much with libido.

Have you tried pregenenolone as an overall hormone pre-cursor booster?
