I think the lights and thrills are the main attraction as children and with many adults, it is the fatting food. With our family is was the bag of fresh roasted peanuts, the warm peanuts were only available at the local fair each summer and the 50 cent bag of peanuts would feed all of us as we watched the tractor pull or demo derby. Fair food has gotten so expensive is beyond rediculous anymore.
