Carlton Pearson a former Pentecostal minister says that everyone will return to God!  My understanding of that as well is not the first one on the Planet to experience that in communication with god, and I won't be the last one either.

While studying in England, Gandhi read the bible from end to end, more than once if I remember correctly.  He used what he read in the bible along with Tolstoy's "The Kingdom of God is Within You" (great book) to reach within himself and lead India in its independence from England.  He practiced what Jesus taught.  Here's my favorite Gandhi quote.  So true, so true.
