Hello,

I recently purchased an Alpha-Stim SCS to help with my anxiety, Depression and brain fog. It's early days, but after around a week of usage the signs are very positive. However, I have one burning question about the product which I'm hopeful someone here will be able to answer, please:

In the manual for the SCS, it says to use daily for the first 2 weeks, then 3 times per week or as directed by your physician.

Because of the severity of my symptoms, I am currently using the device every day for an hour, on the highest setting, so in other words at the maximum therapeutic "dosage", if you like.

As things are going well so far, for peace of mind's sake I would like to continue using it in this way (every day on the highest setting).

Would this be a mistake though? Given what is written in the manual, I can only assume that either (a) You are supposed to reduce usage after the second week because otherwise your brain can build a tolerance to the positive effects of the stimulation or (b) They think that continuous everyday usage is inconvenient for most people, so offer this route as a solution for those who have their mood disorders under control after the first couple of weeks.

If it's the latter then there's no problem and I'll keep using it as I have been, but if it's the former then I would hate to run the risk of using the device improperly thus wrecking my progress and possibly even damaging myself physically, if that is indeed a risk at all.

Just as an aside, I have phoned the customer helpline about this numerous times and they say they'll get a technical member of staff to call me back, but they have yet to do so.

Thank you so much, any reply would be greatly appreciated.
