Several bacteria and protozoa that are hidden from the immune system do alter Hg. That takes time..

As Cutler commented on the use of Homeopathy as a chelator; it works but why punish the child? A real chelator completely bonds to Hg, it is made *bio-unavailable* until the chelator burns out ~half-life.

Why on earth would one want to treat a child with a non chelator when ALA exists..
