Well apparently they examine the liver extensively.
They measure the ammount and colour of bile in ml in the gall bladder, report the absense or presence of stones in the gall bladder, measure the sizes of the nodules in case of cirrhosis, dissect the liver and look at the state of the bilary tree, they weight the liver and look at the colour and fatty tissue.
I'm just confused, if there really are thousands of stones in every gall bladder and liver, how come that goes unnoticed?
I think I'll shoot an email to an anatomical pathologist and ask him straight up if he sees these intraheptic stones a lot.
