Sure, why not. I don't see any harm in it. I just wonder whether some acids can reduce the Lugol's to all iodide, like Vit. C does. Best would be to get some pure citric acid and add a drop of Lugol to see if the solution goes clear. Vinegar (acetic) I would not expect to do this, due to lack of hydroxy groups as are present with citric and other acids yada yada yada not all organic acids are the same, ja ?. I like that website though, it has a lot of good info, save the whole site someday it will disappear.
