Yes, I would generally agree that the antioxidant ["free"/extra/toxin neutralizing] ELECTRONS in the ascorbic acid would tend to NEUTRALIZE whatever drugs they encountered [in your system].

My view would be to get to Bowel Tolerance with the ascorbic acid and see if it ALONE improved my situation. You mentioned taking fifty grams a day for "a few weeks." Question Pocket: Was that your BOWEL TOLERANCE [amount/limit], i.e. all the ascorbic acid your body "wanted" [at that time]?
