That's fab new Sherpa that boosting thyroid support is making you feel so much better...i'm really chuffed for you - so good to hear positive healing news! :-)
It's a hard thing to judge, if the adrenals have down-regulated due to initial thyroid problems, or if the thyroid has down-regulated due to adrenal sluggishness.
One only knows when starting to support the glands, and like HA states...it's important to start with the adrenals.
You're proof, amongst many other folks, that although boosting adrenal strength has helped you hugely, you've still got a thyroid issue...and need to address that to feel more 'optimum' as you testify.
If it's just an adrenal issue, once the glands become strong and productive again, the thyroid/hypothalamus will 'step up' their production to match the stronger adrenals.
So i wonder if initially you had a thyroid issue, which then caused adrenal sluggishness, creating symptoms that are hard to ignore....so you focus on adrenal health...get improved health, your thyroid is then playing 'catch-up', and currently needs some support to fully match your healthier adrenals?
I've just received 'Stop the Thyroid Madness' book which is packed full of info on patient experiences of thyroid and adrenal issues, and treating them. Would highly recommend it to folks on this forum.
Keep us posted on progress :-)
