Too bad the COX inhibitors can have side effects of their own. For me aspirin irritates my gut much more than ibuprofen. Long-term aspirin use might be pretty harsh on the stomach and gut lining. Ibuprofen does a good job at inhibiting .I use it every now and then to get some relief. The side effects seem to be minimal if I don't use it all the time. I noticed after about 3 days straight of doing ibuprofen it starts to become less effective (once candida adapts/becomes resistant to it after using it over a period of time). Havent experimented with aspirin because of the Stomach+and Gi irritation it has caused me.
