Since discussing this subject with you, that is a young man attempting to find God.
I have attempted to stick to the subject in hand. Your telling me that I am missing the points that you make.
You are constantly going off subject.

I find this young man knows what is right and wrong otherwise he would have not brought the subject up.

Let me get MY point across to you .....
I find these video games that are put before our youngsters
absolute trash. That particular game GTA is so mindless that it surprises me that youngsters actually play it, but they do and if the games are rated R18 youngsters they are tempted to play them but like my sons but they soon got fed up with them and get on to other things. I know that will happen so I let my sons get over it themselves.
I see where you were coming from the beginning, I am aware, but pointing out the moralistic values and shoving it down their throats does in my estimation achieve nothing.
Youngsters wish to make up their own minds about things so let them burn out this trash themselves.
If I thought for one minute that this trash would have an effect on my lads in their future they would feel my wrath believe me.
Three years ago they started to play Golf and if I behave myself that might take me:)get my point?

This lad in question is going through this trash and looking for alternatives.
I would, if he were my son, try and get him to read, perhaps using "Kindle" where he would find stories of great interest to him. To find out about his Christianity for there are countless books on the subject, many of which are FREE.
He will learn much and make up his own mind about what is "filthy" "evil" etc. etc. while at the same time enjoy the many books of his interest.
That is better than pointing out to him how sick it is to engage into the trash like another person did on this thread. How do you think that young man must have felt when told.

Refreshed, there are many ways to 'kill a cat' so to speak but denying him to find out for himself is counter productive in my mind.
I don't for one moment think that ones mind is shaped by these silly games, to me it's just a phase youngsters go through in their lives, otherwise they will be like m*o*o*ns and that is not we want is it?
