I fasted for 49 days and I think it was too long. I weighed 84 lbs. and could barely get around. I'm on a fast now to achieve specific results but will not carry it beyond three weeks. On the 49 day fast, I spent the last four weeks in bed but could get out and do stuff the first three weeks, so I figure three weeks is about right. I lose about a pound a day on fasts.
