wow. the lack of concern is disgusting.

you can use the honey and cayenne together. after placing the honey on the wound then tape a big pile of cayenne against it like a poultice. that should increase the circulation to that area.

unfortunately, it sounds like your efforts mitigated the infection enough that they didnt show a lot of concern over it.

my grandfather busted his hip up at `12 years old falling into a mine shaft while playing. he spent months in the hospital with maggots in the would as it slowly healed. crippled for life with a severe limp, he continued having pieces of bone work their way out of the wound till his death in his 80s.

you might consider silver internally.
