This is just one example scaring me away from distilled water. Especially the pH of it, doesn't help much either. I've put Litmus paper in it before, and it's definitely on the acidic side. Whether its from absorbing carbon dioxide or not, it's still low pH.

I feel so conflicted with what water to drink. I want an easy clean source of water at home, as I was going to get a distiller, but reading this pushes me back and away from it.
