All good points.

One of the things that irks me about CZ is that when a problem is posted there are immediate responses on what to "take" for a solution - often conflicting.  Any health care practitioner today - MD or ND or other can visually see the person who is seeking help.  That visual look gives them a pretty good idea of their overweight/obesity status and they can then make decisions based on that.  Nobody on CZ asking for help ever posts their body mass index (BMI) and by failing to do so may well be avoiding an obvious solution to the problem that is epidemic in the United States - overweight, which would be weight loss and/or exercise.  Almost all responses are for something that you stick in your mouth.  Yet daily meditation has been proven to rewire sick brains.  CZ has an oral fixation.

The other problem I see is that there are carnival barkers promoting their own private solutions often times selling directly to those entering their forum.  I have no problem with those because they generally have their own private forums and I don't cruise private forms.  What does get me going though are the promotions for products in the public forums.  A great example is the cancer forum where the "moderator" has his own private business of unproven (actually proven non-benefical) supplements which he slyly hawks day in and day out.  What he is hawking was run through FDA trials which were stopped in Phase I because they did not reverse cancer and in fact gave many people other problems.  If you look at his product one of the side effects is heart failure and other heart problems yet he continues to push his product as if it were safe.

One last gripe is that CZ seems to live in contempt for anyone using traditional medical care and in a lot of cases, that is the most beneficial.  This is in fact Cure Zone, not Denial Zone.

Thanks for the opportunity to gripe about some of the obvious problems with CZ.
