No one should have to put up with rude remarks like that from people in the medical field, because they should know better!

Hang in there, get your degree, and show them. Nurses are in demand everywhere. There are so many areas of nursing you can go into. It's just finding your little niche.

One thing I know for sure, you will be a compassionate and caring nurse. Where other nurses might make rude comments within earshot of patients with deformities or rare medical conditions, you will be there to lift them up and offer hope.
