I have a friend with Protein C Deficiency and was wondering if anyone knew of (or had experience with) alternative/natural approaches to dealing with it?

I've mentioned to her the therapeutic use of dark chocolate, for its anticoagulant effects, which she's going to bring up with her doctor. So if you have thoughts on chocolate too please share!

Please also let me know if this is not the best forum or if there's a more appropriate one.
