If all this were true ec treatment would consist of:
1) Getting a culture
2) Applying a topical cream
3) If its a wound leave it alone for a week

And the unconcious, self-induced trauma that we think can cause this isn't your typical, high stick wound that heals in a week if you don't pick it.... The theory is that its caused over years of repeated trauma causing chronic inflammation.

If your theories were true there'd be a whole lot more people getting cured.
