to the Christians I'd suggest that Jesus would say to just love your enemy, and if the devil is perceived as being an enemy, just simply follow Christ and love the devil. People always talkin down the devil, but how very few have ever even tried to follow the Lord's teachings and show some love to the devil ?? Maybe show love to the devil, then you can learn to trust him more.
