HI, I had the same issue. on some occasions, i felt I was coughing up a lung. I would eat 1 pineapple a day and that would make it go away after about 3 days, but what cured me is cutting out all dairy. I cut out dairy for a month and within days no dry cough, I allowed myself one cheat day which turned into two, I ate lots of cheese and lo and behold my cough came back. so I went back to no dairy and the cough is gone. I plan on maintaining my no dairy diet because it feels so good not to cough, i was entertaining the possibility that I had lung cancer at some point and now I feel happy.
