LOL! I gave the thong as not an extreme of the spectrum. I gave it as an example of law. If I were to wear it to a public place it would be legal. My example of the burka is also of law. If a Muslim country sees it as a religious duty, then why are we critical? Just because I can do one thing here, does not mean all people of the world have to accept it. I am mainly speaking of the adversion most have to women being covered. Women here are forced to wear revealing clothes that men are not forced too. Like women in "high power" jobs who must wear skirts, panty hose, heels, low cut tops, perfume, etc. There is no law about this, yet it is a given. Most women are forced by our society to reveal their cleavage as well. Also pressured to be beautiful. Watch any news cast and tell me how many ugly, over weight women you can find? There is no law. But it is implied. I see many men as news casters that did not get their jobs because they are nice to look at.
Women are forced to feel worthless if they do not measur up. Otherwise the plastic surgeon would not be so busy and women would not feel compelled to go to extremes to make themselves into something that society deems as worthwhile to look at and have.
I get plenty of sunlight in privacy. I have access to gardens.
Thank you for your kind and witty reply.
