“Israel is at the beginning of the dementia and endeavoring to find some new way of making a fatal mistake,” wrote Rodney Shakespeare.

“Finally comes the shrieking dementia which can undoubtedly be dangerous to others but, at the same time, it leads to a fatal mistake which brings about the downfall,” he added.

Shakespeare highlighted Israel’s attacks on Syria, saying, “No doubt this puts [Israeli Prime Ministry Benjamin] Netanyahu’s cronies into fits of joyous delirium.”

He noted that Tel Aviv is overestimating its “own power and capabilities which is followed by a loss for contact with reality.”

Shakespeare, a co-founder of the Global Justice Movement, stated that an Israeli military action against the Islamic Republic would backfire on the Zionist regime and its allies.

“However, Iran is not a powerless Gaza and, apart from military matters, an attack on Iran is only too likely to precipitate military action much more widely as well as political change, including the downfall of the USA’s and Israel’s regional allies,” he wrote.

Shakespeare expressed hope that al-Quds (Jerusalem) would be liberated from Israeli occupation in the near future.

“Be sure - one day, not too far off, the Zionists will make that fatal mistake and, after that, al-Quds will be liberated,” he concluded.

Palestinians are seeking to create an independent state on the territories of the West Bank, East al-Quds (Jerusalem), and the Gaza Strip, and have been demanding that Israel withdraw from the Palestinian territories occupied in the 1967 Six-Day War.
