According to this file, adverse reactions with elemental iodine can occur at 175 mg.

According Abraham, to reach total body sufficiency, we need approx 1,500 - 2,000 mg iodine/iodide.

We don't really know how long it takes to move toxins out of the iodine receptors.

Even Dr Brownstein had said he was still pushing out tons of bromide after 8 months on iodine, but he never said whether he was doing salt pushing or not.

Unless you are doing specific testing, we have to go off of how we feel.
