For those suffering form malaria and taking the sulphadoxine pills: did you read up on any side effects that would reduce the parietal cell mass in the stomach as a result of taking sulphadoxine? Parietal cells produce stomach acid and their decrease means low stomach acid production and impaired digestion. The longterm results maybe heartburn or acid reflux
