Trying to get a full grasp on candida is almost impossible. There is so much information out there that it's almost futile to try to integrate it all. The more I learn, the more questions I have. Candida is an extremely complex organism. Entire books have been written on its metabolism and changes in cell structure. There are hundreds if not thousands of chemicals that have been shown to affect its growth and behavior. It boggles the mind.
