Just really beggars belief that doctor wanted to treat me for Depression stating that Depression was responsible for my loss of periods and hot flushes. How backwards can you get!
Over here in the UK evertyhing hinges on blood tests as a result (pardon the pun), you're a depressive if the blood test results are normal.... they love to push prozac!
I am a small thin lady and have looked 20 years younger for better part, as a result I am constantly being undermined by doctors who perceive me as being young, and not able to understand my body. Awful. Irrespective of what I say.
Please tell me that there is an end in sight to this perimenopause state, really interested to know how best you coped, any further advice really appreciated.
