I'm so sorry that you are going through that. I know how you feel. I am going through a similar situation. I need upper and lower dentures but can't afford both so I will only be doing the uppers first. My fiancé will be getting a loan in about four months to help me. I am also scared to death. I don't like having so many missing teeth right now but the thought of having the rest pulled and having dentures makes me want to cry.

I don't have friends and I stay inside and avoid people. When I am forced to leave the house I won't smile or talk to people if I don't have to. I don't let anyone take pictures of me.

Fearing what others think about me is eating me alive.

I also just wish to be happy and pain free for once.

We really do need a support group. Somewhere, anywhere for people who are young and need dentures. Maybe we can create one on facebook, where we can all connect and talk about what we are feeling and going through....
